Our Services

Darlington Keys is a mobile auto locksmith operating across North East England. Our services include car key replacement, spare key cutting and programming, key fob repair and reprogramming, emergency vehicle lockout assistance, and end-of-lease key supply. All work is carried out at your location — home, workplace, or roadside. We cover most makes and models, but coverage for a specific vehicle is confirmed when you contact us.

Quotes & Pricing

No prices are displayed on this website. The cost of a job depends on the make, model, and type of key or work required, so all work is quoted individually when you enquire by phone or WhatsApp. Quotes are free and carry no obligation. If, on attending, we find the job differs materially from what was described, we will explain any change to the price before starting work.

Payment

We do not take payment upfront — only once all the work is completed to your satisfaction will we take payment. Payment is due on completion of the work at the agreed price.

Insurance

Darlington Keys operates a fully insured service. All work on your vehicle is covered by our business insurance for your complete peace of mind.

Proof of Ownership

For your protection and ours, we may ask you to provide proof of identity and proof of ownership or lawful entitlement to the vehicle (such as the V5C registration document or lease agreement) before carrying out entry or key work. We reserve the right to decline work where ownership cannot be reasonably established.

Liability

We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care using non-destructive techniques wherever possible. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage to a vehicle, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the work was agreed.
